Ekleipsis recently became a physical publication, designed by graphic designer Bethany Rush (@bethanyrush_). A publication that hopes to detail a sensitive retelling and reclamation of the term ‘witch’ within modern feminist critique and conversation.

“Ekleipsis has been designed around the pagan wheel of the year, which is divided into eight celebrations or ‘sabbats’. To reflect this, the photographic content has been shared amongst eight french folds.” - Bethany Rush

Each fold is bookended by the flowers and herbs that would decorate the altar of each sabbat. To access the imagery, the french fold must then be torn open - in the reader’s own act of ritual.
